LionPAC is extremely excited to announce the official launch of our AIPAC Policy Conference Scholarship Fund. Thanks to the generous support of outside donors, LionPAC will be offering financial scholarships to offset the conference cost for selected students who apply via the following link: http://bit.ly/PCSFApplication.
AIPAC’s annual Policy Conference is the largest gathering of pro-Israel leaders in the country, bringing together policy makers (including more than half of the Senate and a third of the House of Representatives to name a few), community and student leaders, and more. Policy Conference draws more than 6,000 activists representing all 50 states annually, with past keynote speakers including Benjamin Netanyahu, Michael Oren, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Alan Dershowitz, Tony Blair, Shimon Peres, Joe Biden, John Kerry, John McCain, and Nancy Pelosi. With hundreds of educational sessions and a plethora of speakers and experts from across the political spectrum, Policy Conference is the pinnacle of pro-Israel advocacy in the country. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is already confirmed to speak at this year’s conference, which will take place on May 22-24 in Washington, D.C. For more information about the conference please see: http://www.aipac.org/pc/.
As an independently-run student organization under the auspices of Columbia/Barnard Hillel, LionPAC does not affiliate with one single pro-Israel group or movement. However, we believe Policy Conference is a particular special opportunity to meet with leading experts, policy makers, and Israel advocates from across the country. Therefore, it is our goal to send a large delegation from Columbia to expose as many students as possible to this unparalleled opportunity.
All Columbia, Barnard, and JTS students are eligible to apply for subsidization regardless of religion, political affiliation, or prior involvement with AIPAC or the pro-Israel community.
